Big Ideas Mobile Skills Lab (10/6) Sophomores enjoyed the visit from the Big Ideas Mobile Skills Lab on October 2nd and 3rd. Each Sophomore had the opportunity to spend one hour rotating through skilled trade simulations and hands-on activities. They were even given the opportunity to choose from 25 careers to experience through use of Virtual Reality headsets.Thank you to the Toyota Wellspring Education Fund, CREATE Foundation, TVA and volunteers from Toyota Mississippi for making this special event possible!

FEA visits Blue Mountain Christian University (10/1) Future Educators of America juniors and seniors went to Blue Mountain Christian University today to learn more about majoring in Education. FEA got the privilege of using the new Toyota Driving Possibilities vans, and students Jastin and Dontavious got to participate in an activity throwing a tennis ball and an egg.
Fiber Splicing Rodeo (10/1) Austin Gasaway and Langston Hodges participated in the Fiber Splicing Rodeo at Cadence Bank Arena and Conference Center, hosted by Ole Miss and Tombigbee Electric Power Association Fiber. Students were able to learn basic fiber splicing skills with technicians from the Tombigbee Electric Power Association Fiber Team. Once the students had basic instruction on fiber splicing techniques, each was given the opportunity to use their new skills. The Rodeo was a part of the Digital Innovation Conference. Way to represent, Langston and Austin!
Excited for the Arrival of BIG IDEAS! (10/1) We are ready for the Big Ideas Mobile Skills Lab to arrive! Sophomores will be rotating through the lab this Thursday and Friday. This fun photo booth was a great way to create some excitement for the lab's arrival.
PJH and PHS Cheer to Host Mini Cheer Camp October 22-24! (9/29) Mini Cheer Camp forms will go home today or tomorrow with girls in Pre-K (enrolled at PES) through 6th grade!Forms and money are due back to the front office at PES, DT Cox, or PMS no later than Friday, October 10. No forms or payment should be accepted at PHS or PJH! This helps us tremendously when locating forms and payment. Please only turn them into your child's school!
PHS Open House (9/29) PHS Open House is October 23rd from 4:00-6:00. Parents and guardians are invited to this come-and-go event to meet with teachers.
