AP Biology Karyotype Lab

2/27/23: Students in Mrs. Russell’s AP Biology class have been learning about karyotypes and chromosomal abnormalities. They were given a sheet of chromosomes that were mixed up, and had to pair them together and recognize where the abnormalities were located. They then cut and glued the chromosomes to create their own karyotype. They enjoyed this hands-on activity to practice what they have learned.
