Students were shown how to do a budget on a spreadsheet, learned about traditional IRAs, Roth IRAs, 401Ks, mutual funds, and how interest on your investments can compound (especially when you start saving early). Students greatly enjoyed Mr. Chittom entering salaries into an investment calculator and were really amazed to see that even small investments, at a young age, can grow to over a million dollars at the time of retirement.
Thank you, Mr. Chittom, for showing our students how budgeting and investing can greatly benefit them in their future.
