Workforce Wednesday was filled with great guest speakers from Three Rivers. Visitors were: Rebecca Brantley - Adult Programs Coordinator, Dave Kitchens - Workforce Services Specialist, Lathe Ward - IT Specialist, and Darla Webb - WIOA Program Specialist. Students learned about the mission of the Three Rivers Workforce Division; workforce opportunities like apprenticeships, individual training accounts, internships, and the youth program; had a workforce testimonial from a recent Base Camp Coding Academy graduate; and were granted a question and answer session concerning these programs. Each College and Career Readiness student also received a take home packet to share with their parents.
We are thankful for the working partnership between Three Rivers and PHS and for all they do to assist our students.
