Rural Medical and Science Scholars Program

She will take one health science college-level course (Introduction to Health Professions), spend several afternoons a week participating in practical learning workshops geared to the interests of young, aspiring healthcare professionals, scientists, and engineers.  Practical lab-based learning activities will be integrated throughout the program to enhance knowledge and skill. Workshops pertaining to communication, team building/critical thinking, and study skills will help her to launch her college career.
 
Samari received a full tuition scholarship to RMSS through the Toyota Wellspring Education Fund, which is administered by the CREATE Foundation.
