Tests are also done to measure turbidity, conductivity, pH and the amount of bacteria present. The study is ongoing this semester and will end with students presenting their findings to professors and graduate students at Ole Miss. Students have found a small amount of E. coli in the lake which is normal, this just means humans should not drink the lake water. Other data shows that the lake is in a healthy stable state.
