Today I am a flame
Something to hold close so I don't go out
Today I am a spark
Something that can start and shine
Today I am a flare
An unsteady gleam
Today I am a blaze
Something that can sting and burn
Today I am a forest fire
Spreading dangerously and rapidly
Today I am warmth
Here for comfort and need
Today I am smoke
Ready to fill up your lungs
Today I am the sun
Shining brightly spreading warmth here for clarity
