Mrs. Crawford and Mr. Franklin spoke about how to start checking accounts and savings accounts, IRAs, and the importance of good credit and starting to save early in life. They helped the students with a hands-on activity where the students practiced writing checks and balancing a checkbook. Additionally, the students were asked some questions and those who answered correctly were awarded prizes.
We thank Mrs. Crawford and Mr. Franklin for bringing these real life skills to PHS students and giving back to their alma mater. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior!
