Miss Perrigin and SSG McGee also visited College and Career Readiness classes and shared about their own careers. Miss Perrigin, a marketing associate, shared how she had been a first generation college student and talked to the students about some challenges she faced and overcame. She also spoke about the importance of volunteerism and the value it adds to one's resume. SSG McGee told students about his own highway patrol career, the training to become a member of the MHP, and spoke about the preferred candidate program at ICC called CORE.
The students greatly enjoyed this visit. We thank Miss Perrigin and Staff Sergeant McGee for taking the time to come to PHS and share valuable information with our students.
