As part of Pontotoc High School's mission to cultivate relationships with families and community, we are participating in a service project to show our commitment to the community for which the school serves. This semester we are asking all students, staff, family members, and the community as a whole to make a pledge to benefit the Regional Rehab Center.
The Regional Rehab Center provides outpatient speech therapy, dyslexia treatment, audiology services, early childhood intervention, as well as, physical therapy and occupational therapy to families in our community and in the surrounding area. The Regional Rehab Center is a non-profit organization that has been in our community for over 50 years and will be broadcasting their annual Celebration of Hope telethon on November 14th from 1pm -3pm on WTVA-ABC where we hope to make PHS's donation.
This service project at PHS will last from October 5 - November 5, 2021. During this time, students can donate $1-4.99 for a small heart, $5-9.99 for a medium heart, and $10 or more for a large heart. The hearts will be displayed on the Technology Lab window in the Commons at PHS.
Pontotoc has a rich history of helping its community and surrounding areas when a need exists. Service is deeply ingrained in its traditions. We want to keep that drive alive. Let's make this a fruitful project for the Regional Rehab Center.
